About Us
Haynes Farm has been a diversified farm for many years, but after David Haynes passed, Hannah took over. In trying to maintain the farm but make it feasible for her and her mom, DeAnne, she turned to sheep. Showing sheep from 4-21 years old, the passion was already there. Jumping back into raising show lambs in 2019 has been the best thing we have done. We started with 5 ewes and a ram and are now up to about 35 mature ewes, 8 replacement ewes and 2 rams. Utilizing AI and ET we continue to try to improve our genetics and quality. We find that more and more folks are interested in lamb meat, and sell various cuts and sausage to consumers in our area. We do our best to market and promote lamb, and hope this group can help with that even more! Excited to (once again) be a part of this organization!
